summer livin
I sewed this while I was pregnant with Simi - it hangs on the wall behind my computer always reminding me....
Yea, new park equipment. J was to busy to demonstrate as he was cruising around on his bike.
Park is complete with walking/biking/scootering trails. Simi was going a mach speed down the hill while the front wheel caught and flipped her over. She's got a nice road rash so J is giving her a push while she rides on the scooter.
It will be a great day of mourning when this cat dies. He goes by the unusual name of "Big 'ol fat Macher's" his name before kids and hubby was Jacque. Simi cherishes him. Every morning it's the same deal: run outside to grab :Big 'ol fat Machers" to give him some "LOVE". Machers suffered a stroke a few years back and hasn't been the same since so he hasn't wised up to the daily dose of lovin' and made himself unavailable in the morning. The cat also had a broken jaw in his previous life so he has this snaggle tooth look about him, it's very becoming. Someday I'll get a close-up shot for you. But never a nicer more accommodating cat will you find.
More art. This time our medium was Mica - yep, the rock. It's a trick to laminate - but we did that too.
